300 grams Pearl Sago soak in water for 2 hours
1 pcs Fresh Coconut grated
150 grams Sugar
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
125 ml Water
1/2 tsp. Salt
24 sheets Banana leaves each 12 cm wide
2 sheets Pandanus leaves cut 4 cm length
5 pcs Banana each cut into 3 part
Soak the pearl sago flour in water for 2 hours. Drain and put aside. Mix well the sago,grated coconut, sugar, vanila, salt and water. Peel the bananas and slice, cut into 3 part horizontally .
Put the 2 sheet banana leaves cross on top of each other . Tuck a piece of pandanus leaf in the center and lay two tablespoon of the sago mixture on top. Place one slice of banana and put another one tablespoons of sago mixture onto the banana to enclose it. Seal the parcel with toothpick. Repeat the same way to make 12 parcel.
Arrange the parcels in a steamer and cook over medium heat for 25 - 30 minutes.
