076e Green Beans With Sasame Dressing (Buncis Saus Wijen)



175 grams Green Beans Take the string out from both sides

1 pinch Salt

3 tbs. Sesame seeds toasted

1 tbs. Sugar

3 tbs. Dashi stock

1/2 tbs. Miso Paste

1 tbs. Salty soya sauce


Boil the beans in a pot of water for 5 minutes or until tender, add the salt and stirring occasionally. Drain immediately and rinse it under cold water.

Finely grind the sesame seeds in a pestle and mortar or in a grinder. Add the sugar,dashi, miso paste and soy sauce and mix together well.

Tossed the green beans in the sesame dressing and serve as a salad or side dish.


Dashi stock ( japanese fish stock) can be replaced with vegetable granular mix with warm water.
