074e Steam Minced Beef in Banana Leaves Parcel (Gadon Tahu Daging Sapi)



150 grams Minced beef

250 grams Tofu optional

50 ml Coconut cream

2 pcs Egg

8 pcs Salam Leaf

8 pcs Fragrant lime leaves

1 pcs Red chilies finely sliced

5 pcs Shallot

3 cloves Garlic

1 teaspoon Coriander seeds roasted

1/2 teaspoon Cumin roasted

1 tablespoon Palm sugar

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Pepper Bird's eye chilies 8 (optional)

16 sheets Banana leaves Each 12 cm wide


Prepare the banana leaves cut into 12cm. Clean the surface of the leaves with a napkin, set aside. Blend all the ingredients until turned into paste, except lime leaves, salam leaves, and the red chilies.

Place a peace of salam leaf and fragrant lime leaf in the center of banana leaf and lay one part of the tofu mixture. Put 1 piece of bird eye chilies in each parcel (optional).

Fold the banana leaf and pull the side facing you to touch the opposite side. Wrap the tofu mixture and use wooden skewers to close the banana leaf parcel. Steam over hot water in a steamer for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
