500 grams Beef Boil with 3 liters water to make 2 liters stock.
100 grams Bean sprouts
4 pcs Spring Onion Cut a length of 2 cm, wash.
1 bunch Asian Bacilicum
2 pcs Lemon Each sliced into 4 pcs
1/2 pcs Cucumber Cut a length of 4 cm, devide into 8 parts
2 pcs Salthy Egg Each of it cut into half
4 tbs. Sambal Terasi
6 pcs Shrimp crakers
5 tbs. Vegetable oil
3 pcs Red chilis Seeded
1 cm Shrimp paste
6 pcs Shallots
3 cloves Garlic
2 tsp. coriander
3 pcs Kluwak Nuts Soak in hot water for 10 minutes, drain
2 cm Turmeric Fried
3 pcs Kaffir / fragrant lime leaves
2 cm Galangal
1 stalk Lemongrass
2 cm Tamarin fruits grill
1 tsp. Salt
Blend red chills, shrimp paste, shallots, garlic, turmeric, coriander seed, kluwak nuts until smooth.
Heat a pan and put 5 tablespoon vegetable oil and put all blended ingredients and saute until cooked and sticky.
Add sliced beef and the beef stock. Put kafir lime leafs, salam, galangan, lemongrass and boil until the meet tender. Add the grilled tamarind. Strain the stock with a sieve. Put aside the meat and dispose the stock residue.
Place the fresh bean sprouts, spring onion and asian basilicum in a bowl. Pour the stock over it and serve with "kerupuk udang" (shrimp cracker), "telur asin" ( salty boil egg), sliced cucumber and "sambal terasi" (chili sambal).
